At Lawrenceville Dental Implant Center and Periodontics, we are getting ready to re-open our doors on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Our primary goal is still to provide a healthy and safe environment for all of our patients, staff, and doctors while providing the best possible care for your dental needs and adhering to our high standards of care.
In continuing our goal, and for the safety of everyone who comes to our office, we are following the recommended guidelines established by the American Dental Association (ADA), American Academy of Periodontics (AAP), Center for Disease Control (CDC), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We will continuously monitor all the updates provided by these agencies.
To minimize the COVID-19 infection for our patients and staff, we have established some new office procedures and safety measures:
SCHEDULING or RE-SCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT
Appointments will be managed to allow for greater time between patients to minimize wait times and to reduce the number of people in our office at a given time. When scheduling or rescheduling appointments over the phone, our staff will do its best to accommodate the high demand for dental appointments in direct response to our closure. We kindly ask that you be flexible and patient. Upon confirmation of your appointment, we will update you on modifications to our office protocols. We will also review a few screening questions with you. These questions will be reviewed again with you once you arrive for your scheduled appointment. If you answer YES to any of the questions, we could recommend a tele-dentistry appointment to evaluate the future steps.
THE DAY OF YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT
Our staff will implement strict infection prevention practices and will use the necessary personal protective equipment at all times. Social distancing guidelines must be followed at all times in our practice, this includes wearing a mask (we will provide one if you do not bring your own). Once you arrive at our parking lot please call our office at 609-896-0700. You will be checked in at that time. We will ask that you wait in your car until we are ready to bring you into one of our treatment rooms. We ask that only the patient come into our office, unless physical assistance is required.
Upon entering our office, one of our staff members will take your temperature with a contactless thermometer and will ask you to use hand sanitizer, which will be available throughout our office. You will be escorted to the treatment room where we will take the best possible care of you. Once your treatment is complete, we will ask you to remain in the treatment room for a contactless checkout.
